yes those were awesome....and they were 20% btw.....
20% seemed IMO nice because it was much easier on tires, yet you still had plenty of power, unlike the UFBR/XFJR.
there were some really awesome races on that server with 25 of those cars....
you were perma-banned due to 1)repeatedly ignoring the rules, 2)too many complaints from other users, and 3) earning an excessive record of kicks/bans.
and frankly, the babysitting has come to an end.
the server is what the public makes it.
the stupidity is no longer entertaining, it's rather embarrassing actually.
in Airio.tcd.txt file put this:

All LeveL | SysteM multi-class servers also now utilize custom grid sorting via Airio 2.3.5, placing faster-class cars towards front of grid, cutting down on the dreaded pile-ups caused by faster cars starting at rear of field often found on some multi-class racing servers.
Plans for the website include being able to check your stats and points and compare them to other LeveL | SysteM users

well tbh i did a 3 day event last october that was a little less complicated though very similar (minus the points), and due to timezone, real-life, and lack of dedication issues, only half the signups showed. then there is always confusion on who goes where when and why.......
believe me this type of ideal appeals to me, but it doesn't appeal to the majority. so unless you can single out ppl like me that do like it, it's destined to fail (mainly because the complexity outweighs the rewards).
asking airio to do all these things seems to be quite a task, considering it may not be utilized by more than a select few.
but good luck. hope you can prove me wrong......

so basically you want to see a server that will only keep points for a series of weekend events? and not issue points any other time than during those events?
...much like alot of busy servers lately.
the best thing you can do is use others' stupidity for your own entertainment.
when the stupidity starts to bother you, take a break.

The mutli-class idea is a good one, though execution seems to be the issue.
Hopefully the way the car combos/ server separation will help avoid some of the conflicts presented by some multi-class servers.
I'm not saying others are bad, just that it is a matter of choice as to which cars should be allowed to race together.
And if i'm wrong, then i have 5 servers to play on by myself. lol

Combining points across multiple "team" servers would require alot of time and cooperation, and would be quite a project for someone to take on.
It has been mentioned before by someone in SonicRealms Racing, but i believe there would be entirely too many variables that could cause a conflict.....
ah you see, this is the case.....all the points you earn here apply towards your rank, so as you "level up" on one server, it can allow you access to other servers and car combos...

All reports will be dealt with in a timely manner, provided there is a user-supplied .mpr

so where is the "this is to prep you for MoE" arguement?
it seems as some rules fall under the "we are amatuers so change it" catagory, and some fall under the "this is to prepare you for MoE" catagory.
if you want realism, and the wind is "unrealistic", then you should also post a poll about anyone using anything but in-car view, because it too is "unrealistic"...correct?
whatever the rules are they are. if you are going to argue a point, there should be some consistency behind your view of how things should be.
i am not pointing fingers, making assumptions, or singling out anyone, but some people are on both sides of the fence.
do you want realism? do you want a challenge? or do you just want the rules changed to make it as easy as possible?
my personal opinion is (since LFS is a so-called simulator), force cockpit view, and throw in some wind if it posted in the rules there might be, and let us race. if i wanted to play a game using follow view, then i would fire up Gran Turismo 4 or Need for Speed and have a go.
